Frequently Asked Questions

Raising Funds

Processing will not occur until the end of your “campaign.” Every effort will be made to get the funds to you within 1 month. C3Funding must make sure all funds are committed before transferring to the Issuer.

Please go to the “Submit an Offer” document and follow the directions. C3Funding staff are available to help you develop your offer.

You will be asked to set a minimum amount necessary for your project. If that minimum is not met within the time frame of your offer, you will receive no money. All funds will be returned to the investors. If your offer makes more than the minimum, you will receive all the funds made through to the end of the time frame of your offer.

Investing

Please go to the “Make an Investment” document and follow the directions.

General

Community Centric Crowdfunding (C3funding) is unique. It is focused only on your community. All the offers go to projects developed by your friends and neighbors. All the funds raised remain local. Also, C3funding has a variety of opportunities for posting offers and making investments that were not allowed prior to a change made by Congress in 2012.

We need to verify that you are who you say you are, and that you have the funds to invest. We also would like to stay in contact with you to let you know about new investment offers you may be interested in. We promise not to inundate you with e-mails or disclose your information to a 3rd party.

Pricing

The “Issuer” of the offer will determine whether fees for C3Funding and payment processors will be paid by the “Issuer” or by each “Investor.” If the Issuer doesn’t make a choice, the Investor can elect to pay the fees and the fees will be added to the investment amount. If the Investor doesn’t make that election, the fees will be deducted from the investment amount.
